Two of the three driveways up to the cabin.  The left (West )is very steep; the center not as much leads to parking. Makes a nice morning sunroom. Basement is unfinished and does not qualify as a garage.Split log wood cache should last quite a while.Open beam living room gives the cabin a large look.Faux stone front fireplace with wood burning insert has integrated fan forced heating.  One of the few cabins with a real chimney.Master bedroom is on the first floor saving the need to hike up the stairs.  Most cabins have second floor bedrooms.Knotty pine walls and ceiling with open beams.Master bath lavatory has dual sinks and is straight out of the late 80's - oak facing and faux marble.Kitchen is open, moderate size, 80's oak faced cabinets, melamine counters, oak laminate  floor and breakfast bar.Large dreamcatcher at top of stairs came with the furniture.  Memphis likes to run up and down the stairs although that is not good for his back.Sue made a cork and feather wreath which hangs above a creative shelf system - concrete blocks and pine 2x6s.Very rare to see fire hydrants in any mountain cabin community.  This one is located at our front property line.  Underground utilities serve the community as well.This is how appliances are delivered to the cabins.  A very maneuverable 3-wheeled, all terrain fork liftForklift delivers refrigerator to stairs.Large, covered front deck faces Easterly.  Morning sun warms the living area.Northern view of front deck.Small kitchen is very usable and has all the conveniences.Slightly distorted panorama of the West side.Cofy seating makes it difficult to stay awake in front of a log fire.  Fireplace is a wood burning insert into the original fire brick fireplace.  The insert  is very efficient.  It  has a two speed fan and heat exchanger which can really pump out the warmth.The open beam ceiling gives the cabin a larger feeling.This panorama gives a good view of the living, dining, and kitchen areas.Sun room is an enclosed rear deck.  Deer are seen every day through large windows.  Typically, one doe naps about 20 feet from the cabin.  It is not uncommon to see 2 does and 2 to 3 fawns.Covered front and back door decks are convenient.  Memphis, our minature dachshound, has an exercise area off the back porch.
